About two years ago Spanish quintet “Lancaster” unleashed the music video for “If The World Were To End” on Youtube. They’ve been busy touring and recording since then and recently have unveiled the new music video for single “Dig Me Up”. Produced, recorded and mixed by Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios (UK) and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in America (Bring Me The Horizon, All Time Low), you can see how they’ve been influenced by the likes of Mallory Knox and You Me At Six.
This particular track has some nice electronic / synths running along in the background at points, but they certainly aren’t afraid to strip everything back to allow the vocals space to breathe. The chorus line has that big pop/rock sound you’d hope for and expect. Great little track to get you ready for the incoming summer! The last word goes to Lancaster’s singer, Anth Alonso:
“We feel like the new material is a step up for us” explains front man Anth Alonso, “‘Dig Me Up’ is by far our best work so far and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
